The BattleBuket backend registers a unique payment intent with the payment gateway, locks the exchange rate at 1 BBC = ₹10, and returns a secure payment URL tied to your account.
You are securely redirected to the payment page — supporting UPI, credit/debit cards, and net banking. No sensitive data passes through BattleBuket servers.
Authorize the payment on the gateway's interface. Once completed, the gateway sends a signed callback directly to the BattleBuket backend with the transaction status.
The backend verifies the callback signature, credits the BBC amount to your wallet via a Firestore transaction, and updates your balance instantly — no manual approval needed.
A green confirmation screen appears with the credited BBC amount and order ID. Your wallet balance refreshes across all devices in real time. A transaction record is permanently stored.
1. User completes payment on Payment Gateway → Gateway sends signed POST to /wallet/payment/callback
2. Backend verifies checksum using merchant salt key → rejects if signature mismatch
3. Valid payment → Firestore transaction credits BBC via google_firestore.Increment() (atomic, idempotent)
4. Payment intent status updated to COMPLETED → frontend polling detects the change and shows confirmation
5. Fallback: frontend polls GET /wallet/payment-status/{order_id} every 3s up to 10 minutes
